Can someone please recommend a good job for me?I currently work chunk time in a retail store in the customer service dept. I close to it a lot but I hate STANDING on my foot all day. Known as the single best ski resort in the South, Wintergreen Resort in Virginia has quite a bit to offer skiers. Featuring 11,000 acres with 19 trails, Wintergreen has a top elevation of 3516 feet, with a 1003 foot vertical drop. Beginners, intermediates, and experts will all find suitable trails at Wintergreen Resort.

To accommodate skiers, there are six lifts, including five chair lifts and one surface lift. There is also a dedicated terrain park for snowboarding. The resort is located near Charlottesville, Virginia, and you will experience breathtaking views of the Appalachian Mountains, and be surrounded by luxury that most people only dream of. There is also a world class golf course located near the resort.

Other activities include tubing, snowmobiling, tennis, hiking, and horseback riding. The Out of Bounds Adventure Center is a very popular attraction at the resort with rock climbing and bungee trampolines. The Outdoor Wilderness Leadership school offers corporate retreats, real rock climbing, rappelling, and mountain biking.

This is an ideal spot for a family vacation. You and your children can participate in a variety of craft workshops, enjoy campfires and storytelling, go on hay rides, and enjoy many more community events that are scheduled throughout the year. There are many planned activities for families, including winter hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and swimming in a cozy indoor pool.

Jet skis provide a great way to have a ton of fun in the sun. They give you the freedom to control where you go and what you do on the water. This article will provide you with information on the Top 5 Jet Ski Destinations in the Western U.S. Whether youâre planning a vacation or just want to have some fun, the following will be beneficial to you.

Riding a jet ski is an exciting way to enjoy the water and it can provide hours of fun. If you love the water, the wind in your hair, the sun on your face and the thrill of an adrenaline rush, youâll love riding a jet ski!

Jet skis are designed to provide the enjoyment of water sports. You can find jet ski rentals just about anywhere thereâs an ocean or a lake or at a local ski shop. Most people prefer to rent right on the water so they can just hop on and take off. Weâve compiled a list of the Top 5 Jet Ski destinations in the Western United States, so you know where to go to have fun. Here they are (in no particular order):

1. Lake Powell. You can rent a jet ski in a little town just 6 miles from Lake Powell, called Page, Arizona. Lake Powell is located in the area of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. It has 1,900 miles of shore line, covers 180 miles, have four marinas and some of the cleanest, clearest blue water in the U.S. Lake Powell is located in the Glen Canyon Recreation Area National Park â there are no jet ski restrictions!

2. Morro Bay Harbor. Morro Bay Harbor, near San Luis Obisbo, offers excellent access to the ocean. It is the only all-weather small craft commercial and recreational harbor between Santa Barbara and Monterey. There is no charge to launch, but freshwater rinse is required (for a couple of quarters). The speed limit in the bay is 5mph, but the open ocean is fair game. Big waves to jump (4′-15′+) along miles of deserted beach south of the harbor will keep you busy, not to mention the scenery and wildlife.

3. Columbia River. The Columbia River is the largest river in the Pacific Northwest region of North America. It stretches from British Columbia through Washington state, forming much of the border between Washington and Oregon before emptying into the Pacific Ocean. The river is 1,243 miles long, and its drainage basin is 258,000 square miles. Whether youâre in Washington or Oregon, the Columbia River provides a great place to jet ski â especially if you like your waters a little on the chilly side. Rental prices and fees vary depending on where you launch. There are literally hundreds of miles of boat free/people free places to ride!

4. Lake Mohave. A short drive north of Laughlin, Nevada and Bullhead City, Arizona is a 67-mile stretch of the Colorado River called Lake Mohave. The lake is comparatively narrow, not more than 4 miles across at its widest point. Lake Mohave is part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This lake is perfect for recreation â jet skis, houseboats, boats, etc â and there are plenty of places to launch. PLUS, there are about 10 casinos to choose from along the Colorado River, so have fun!

5. Santa Monica Bay. A great public launch site in Southern California is the Santa Monica Bay. It’s only .00 per day including trailer. The waters are warm, the scenery is gorgeous and aquatic life is abundant. Oh, and youâre in SoCal! What more could you ask for?

It is a twenty story luxury hotel located on Central Park South. Hotel Indigo Asheville Jobs The building is an historic landmark building and The Plaza has operated on the site since 1907.

The first thing that grabs attention when touring this beautiful New York hotel is the entrance way, which is graced by fountains and statues. The entrance is stately, much like the rest of the building – which was built to look like a French Chateau. The Plaza Hotel is easily distinguishable with its ornate exterior.

Guests of the Plaza are accustomed to being pampered and catered to. The Plaza goes above and beyond concierge service. There is a butler designated to every floor as well as babysitting services on every floor.

When determining what the Plaza has to offer, perhaps a more appropriate question would be what doesn’t the Plaza offer. Housed in the confines of this iconic New York hotel, guests will find a plethora of activity to keep them busy during their stay, including a shopping mall that is home to specialty boutiques, jewelers and fine clothiers, a champagne bar in the hotel lobby that looks out over magnificent views, the Rose club, the Grand Ball Room, and Oak Room Restaurant and Bar for fantastic dining and drinks, and so much more. And for those who choose to lounge in their rooms in lieu of taking in dinner, there is also 24-7-365 full service room service.

The Plaza has a great history and the list of famous folks who have either called The Plaza home or have stayed at The Plaza reads like a who’s-who-list of high society and celebrity a-listers. This luxury New York hotel is a favorite of the jet set and celebrity crowds. The Beatles stayed at The Plaza on their first journey to America. The Plaza is the famed home of the ever popular Eloise, a cherished character in a children’s book. The list of movies that used The Plaza as a back drop are plentiful to include, Barefoot In the Park, Home Alone Two, The Way We Were, Funny Girl, North by Northwest and many others. The Plaza also boasts the bragging rights of being mentioned more times in films than any other hotel.

The Plaza sets the scene for more weddings than any other hotel in New York City, perhaps because the Plaza ballroom, with its exquisite crystal chandeliers and marble floors, is the favored setting to display the brides and grooms commitment to each other.

There are no words that could adequately describe the level of luxury that the suites at The Plaza offer. From the marble baths to the dreamy beds that are turned down each night by a staff member who leaves a chocolate treat left on the pillow, there is no comparison to a stay at the Plaza Hotel, one of New York’s finest hotels.

As a PGA professional Brendan has played many courses around the world for both business and pleasure but Cape Town is the destination he has chosen for a second home. As a golfer access to and quality of courses was a critical factor in my selection. Having produced some of the best players in the world South Africa has a great history in golf and has much to shout about. New courses, sponsored and designed by some of the biggest names in the game are opening up on monthly basis. This only goes to reinforce the country’s commitment to become a number one golfing destination.

Some of the most stunning courses are in and around the Western Cape and Cape Town provides the ideal base to explore these. You can play on the links course at Atlantic Beach with Table Mountain as your backdrop, or drive down the kikuyu fairways at Stellenbosch, the winelands on your doorstep beckoning you to call in for a tasting on your return from the 18th.

The courses are uncrowded and are all generally available to visitors. You will find the locals welcoming and willing to cater to all your needs. Caddies, usually a luxury even to the best of us, are widely available and provide not only invaluable advice on how best to play the course, but give you a unique insight into the culture of this diverse nation.

Brendan’s personal favourites and not to be missed on any visit to this great city are Royal Cape which is a majestic park land course and oldest golf club in South Africa dating back to 1885. Erinvale which has held The SA open for a number of years. Designed by Gary Player, it is a great test of golf for all standards with stunning scenery. The type of golf course that even if you don’t play your best, you still can’t help having a great time. Another one not to miss out on would be Clovelley. It is a very picturesque and challenging course. Despite being relatively short in modern day terms, it still offers a great test and is one of Nick Price’s favourite courses.

Further afield, but still within a two hour drive of Cape Town is Arabella Golf and Country Club, a six star hotel with championship course and Spa. This Peter Matkovich designed course encompasses mountain backdrops, lagoon frontage and forests that provide natural corridors to savour the natural beauty of the Klienmond estate. It is challenging enough to bring you back for more but enjoyable enough to make you not want to leave

Ou Baai, the Ernie Els signature course at Herrods Bay close to George, with spectacular views across the Indian Ocean will add to the world class courses on this coast, and no article on golf in South Africa would be complete without due reverence to the five outstanding courses at Fancourt, host venue to the recent Presidents Cup, where the rest of the world managed to hold the USA to a draw. In this respect only, do the South Africans fall slightly short of European achievements.

Do you prefer living in the city or living in the suburbs? Everyone has their reasons why they like one over the other because there is a huge difference between the two. Whether you grew up in a city or moved to a city when you got to college, there is a major difference in perception. Likewise if you are used to farm houses, homeless roads, and cheap patio sets, and you move to the city later in life, it might be a very nice change in pace. Here are the best reasons to live in the city over the suburbs.

1. There is tons more to do, more restaurants, bars, museums, malls and parks. There is definitely more of a night life.
2. It’s where better jobs tend to be located, downtown especially.

3. There’s a higher chance of meeting fun new people.

4. More people around may make you feel more safe in a life threatening situation.

5. Long, scary, winding, dangerous country roads are inexistent.

6. There tends to be more diversity in a much more dense population.

7. An emergency response team is likely to reach you at a faster rate than if you were living out in the boonies.

8. There are more school options for your children and store options for your groceries.

9. There is much more public transportation options and if you are living in a good spot you can basically walk anywhere which saves gas and gets you in shape.

10. There is a better chance of blending in and finding people who share your interests, beliefs, and way of life. Likewise, there is a lot more diversity which can help with personal growth and allow you to become more confident about who you are.

What are your reasons to love the city? Is it the night life or the fact that there’s more people around. Personally, I like there is so much more to do in the city, so many places to see, so many discoveries to make. I also like the fact that you can walk anywhere and there are no long, winding roads to drive on. I love the diversity as well.

Where better to show off the Corvette performance parts than at the American Le Mans Series Utah Grand Prix at Miller Motorsports Park. And this where exactly Oliver Gavin together with Olivier Beretta scored their fourth win in five starts this season. The two âOlliesâ completed 61 laps of the 4.5 mile circuit in their No.4 Compuware Corvette C6.R, finishing 26.550 seconds ahead of Jan Magnussen and Johnny OâConnell in the No.3 Compuware Corvette C6.R. The two Corvettes finished eight and ninth respectively.

After the team elected to change tires that had been flat-spotted in a spin during qualifying Gavin was given no choice but to start at the back of the pack. Per ALMS rule, the pole-winning Corvette was demoted to the 25th starting position after the tire change. Despite his pole position Gavin was able to surpass the entire GT2 field on the first lap obtaining the ninth positions. And by the third lap he was 3.5 seconds behind the No. 3 Corvette which has started on the 12th position.

Gavin recalled, “There was quite a melee in the first corner with cars going off the track, and I was trying to be very careful because the last thing I wanted to do was damage the car. I managed to pick off cars one by one. Then I caught up behind one of the prototypes – that was a problem because we were much quicker in the corners but their car was like a dragster in the straights. Finally he went wide in Turn 15 and I managed to get past him.”

A full course caution at 11:50 into the race has reduced the margin between the two Corvettes to .6 seconds. And then it happen after the first round of pit stops at the 40 minute mark, the No. 4 Corvette has started to lead.

Gavin said, “As I came in for the pit stop, Ray Gongla, my crew chief, said on the radio, ‘Make it count! I pushed and pushed, the crew did a fantastic pit stop, and we managed to get out just in front of Jan. I have to say that our engineer, Steve Cole, and the team gave us a brilliant race car today.”

While Gavin reminisce the race Beretta was savoring his record-setting 32nd career ALMS victory and would be focusing on the teamâs next race which is the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Beretta said, “It was a very important day for us because it was the last practice before Le Mans. We had to finish with the car in one piece because it will fly to France in a few days. We want the mechanics to be well rested because they’ve done a fantastic job since the start of the season. We went through three street races without any accidents and now we’ve completed a successful Michelin tire test. We are ready to go to the big one now.”

The Corvette Racing Program Manager Doug Fehan also agreed that indeed “It was a perfectly executed race today and we learned a tremendous amount. I think we’ve made a very good tire selection for Le Mans; the last compound we had on looked really good, so we’re excited about that. We’ll be as prepared as possible.”

The race was a tough one for the Corvette Racing team like for instance the experience of Magnussen who had to deal with a transmission problem in his two stints in the No. 3 Corvette C6.R. He said, “In the first stint I had some trouble with the gearbox on shifts. That problem got better in the second stint, but I couldn’t count on it not coming back so it was hard for me to push. Still, we did have a good test of the tires, and that will be useful for us going into Le Mans.”

Johnny OâConnell who is the teammate of Magnussen is also eyeing the Le Mans prize. He said, “The next stop is Le Mans, and we’re hoping for good fortune there. We’ve certainly done our homework in these last races.” But for team manager Gary Pratt the race that happened was nothing but business as usual. He said, “It was a smooth run, and I’m proud of the drivers and crews. Everybody kept it on the track. And when Olivier’s happy with the tires then thatâs a good sign for Le Mans.”

The Corvette Racing Team will head to France for the 24 Hours Le Mans which is scheduled on June 16 to 17. The 75th running of the classic 24-hour endurance race on the 8.5-mile Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans will start at 3 pm local time (9 am EDT). Parts of the race are to be televised live on SPEED.

In recent years golf holidays and golf breaks have become very popular with golfers taking advantage of the growth in self catering apartments and holiday cottages available for rental.

Golf breaks are popular in Scotland with many golfers renting a holiday home and playing on the famous Scottish links golf courses; St. Andrews is a popular golf course in Scotland with many golfers staying in holiday cottages near to the famous course.

Glasgow is already a top tourist destination for many travellers in Europe. The Gallery of Modern Art – The Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow is one of the most popular modern art galleries in the UK. It houses contemporary artwork, most with the theme of addressing social issues. It is open nearly all year long and children are welcome. Ask for a free-guided tour.

Glasgow Tower – For a unique architectural gem, try visiting the Glasgow Tower. It is the first tower ever created that revolved full circle, and not just the top. The entire tower can circle around from the base. There are displays inside about Glasgow’s past and displays plans for future developments. From the viewing platform at the top, visitors can see out as far as forty miles.

Things to Do in Glasgow

Shopping and activities in Glasgow make for an enjoyable time while visiting the city. Check out these can’t miss features.

Merchant City Area – The area called Merchant City contains all sorts of shops from clothing to books and antiques and more. Not to mention the various restaurants and cafes to stop by for a cuppa.

Aurora Restaurant – For food fashioned after Scottish cuisine, try Aurora Glasgow Restaurant on 2 Port Dundas Place. All dishes are cooked to order, including delectable delights like roast salsify with shellfish vinaigrette or Gressingham Duck breast. Dinner may cost only £30 per person.

16 Bryres Road – For a Brasseire menu, you will want to try out 16 Bryres Road. You won’t have any trouble finding it, though it is a small restaurant. It is a favourite for locals in Glasgow and for good reason. It was listed as one of the best restaurants in Glasgow in a number of magazines. You can find Confit lamb shoulder, grilled fillet of halibut along with prune and almond chocolate brownies with clotted cream listed on the menu.

Bluu – Bluu in Glasgow offers a European menu for its patrons. Located on 60 Trongate Albion Street, Bluu’s menu consists of ravioli with spicy pineapple salsa and delicious Iced Malteser parfait with white chocolate sauce. Bluu’s tasty meals will range from £20 – £40.
