  • Sorry to hear of your problem. My wife & I bought a week in the Georgian Inn in Ormand Beach, Florida in 1975. We finally got rid of it in 2004. We did have many enjoyable trades to fine places. Maybe you should try trading to areas you might like or times more convinent to your lifestyle.

We tried everything under the sun to sell our unit. The one thing I did learn was that anyone who says they can sell your unit and wants money up front have no interest in selling your unit. We never did fall for that scheme.

An interesting web site, I wish he was around before I bought a timeshare, is http://www.clarkhoward.com. This man is a financial genius. He won’t sell your timeshare but he can set you in the right direction.

I have heard of web sites that help you sell timeshare property. I don’t have any idea if they are on the up & up. I don’t know the web sites address other than something like, http://www.sellmytimeshare.com. That was suggested to me after we sold or unit.

The bad news on our experiance is we sold it back to the owner for 10% of what we paid for it.

    Good luck
