Holiday Parks Or Hotels – Which Are Better

Holiday Parks Or Hotels – Which Are Better

When vacations come calling there is always this great divide in each family between where they should go and where they should stay. There is on one side the prospect of a hotel, where you just go and put up. Nothing much to do except eat and get out of the place to have some fun.

And on the other side there is the holiday park, which are like small cities unto themselves. Everything is packaged for you, so once you land up there you will not have to think about what to do for single moment. Instead, you will think which one to do first! Yes there is just so much activity going around, you will not notice how the days just zoomed past.

Let’s face it, when you are going to a place on a holiday, you are not looking to sit inside some room all day long. If you want that, why spend the money and time? Just shut the doors and windows, disconnect your phone and stay back home. When you are going on a vacation, you need something that excites, so that the only time you have to come back to your room is to lie down to sleep. Other than that, you can just dump your bags in the room and go out and have fun at the holiday park.

You might say that hotels have so many perks but think about it – so does a holiday park. You will get all the facilities of a hotel plus all these other neat things. What hotel has its own scenic trail, bungee jumping area or a stage where celebrities are performing all the time? Sure some hotels are by the beach, but do they have as many fun things to do?

At a holiday park by the beach, you will first of all have every beach sports you’ve ever wanted to play. Then you can go swimming of course but for real fun, you can join all sorts of water sports, including surfing. Not many hotels would have all this plus other activities like rope walking courses and even their own audio recording studio!

That is the fun at holiday resorts, you can have as much fun as you want and spend as little money as you want. Yes, they are not expensive at all because most resorts have a visitor friendly business model. They charge you for a package and every package comes with a basic set of activities, which in themselves are a lot. In fact, some of the bigger and better holiday parks have as many as 50 activities included in every package. So no matter what package you choose, once you have chosen and paid for it, you can enjoy those activities as many times as you want while you are there.

The best thing about holiday resorts is that most of the good holiday resorts let you select add-ons to your basic package to give you a customizable experience. So next time you are on a holiday, do not choose a hotel, be smart and go for a holiday park.
