Parkcity is an exciting place to visit. It’s located in Parkcity Utah. There’s a snow resort, small coffee shops, and a town center. Lots of people from around the world go there to snowboard. It’s a small town with a huge mountainside snow resort. Most people go there to have fun skiing and snowboarding. Park city is a thrilling place to visit.
The first day my cousin and I decided to go snowboarding at Park city snow resort. Once to the top we decided to race to the bottom of the mountain, first to get in line at the lift won. As soon as the path joined three other paths I fell backwards and me cousin sideways. After forty minutes of snowboarding down the mountain, we decided to go rest at the lodge instead of racing to the lift. When we arrived we got a change of clothes and headed to the café.
Because of the several lodge’s scattered all over the mountain we had a place to sit and room to relax. Inside the café was a warm fireplace, small bakery and balcony with a small fire pit. As we warmed up we ate beef stew, donuts from the bakery and drank lots and lots of hot chocolate. Later that day we met my mom and went to dinner, there, with the rest of the family we ate big plates of mashed potatoes and gravy, steak, chicken noodle soup, baked potatoes, fudge brownies, and ice cream leaving us all bloated full of hearty food.
The next day visiting the shop’s at the snow resort we saw pro snowboarder Marc Montoya who had been featured as number three in the top ten in the snowboarder magazine. Having nothing with us but what was in the store we bought a magazine and had him sign it. Now that we had every thing we needed, we went back to our hotel and packed up. Once packed we got in our cars and drove to Salt Lake City. Arriving at the airport late we rushed in gave our luggage to the front desk and met the plane to fly home.
Park city is a great vacation spot. All ages can enjoy the activities available to them. If considering a vacation, I think Park city would be a great place. I think Park city is a exciting place to visit
just wrote how my teacher told us to do it thats why th begging and ending sound wierd.
Do you live in Utah? Help!?
So, if I’m moving to Salt Lake City Utah, what should I know? Where’s the best place or neighborhood to live? We’re a young married couple, but not LDS if that helps. What do you do there? Where do you go? Coffee shops? Parks? Theaters? Bookstores? Does U of U host great lecture events?
What do people DO in Utah? Thanks!

Where should we go skiing? Need help!! ?
Okay so my husband is a pretty advance skier and I am beginning (he is in the process of teaching me). We want to plan a one week long trip somewhere either in the US or canada and don’t know where to choose. I really want to go somewhere with beautiful nature and backdrops and preferably somewhere that isn’t too too crowded. Any options?
So far I have looked at lake louise (canada), tremblant, park city utah, jackson hole, and sugar loaf usa (maine). Is there a big difference between these? Is there any that meet the criteria I am looking for? Any suggestions? Its very difficult to figure out all these details if you have never actually been to the place!
We live in the Northeast but my husband says western skiing is a lot better. I want something that is good for his level but at the same time, beautiful.
Thanks for the help!
How about Zermatt or Chamonix? Zermatt “seems” same in price as the ones in US? Maybe thats not taking into account hidden costs?

Park City Resort or Brighton/Solitude? Please help!?
I am an intermediate skiier hoping to do my first black diamonds this winter.
I am either going to go to
Brighton AND Solitude Mountain (Utah)
OR
Park City (Utah)
I like uncrowded slopes, and have never skiied on powder, but would LOVE to try, and I dislike icy, over-groomed conditions (who doens’t?).
On the other hand, I would like a variety of restaurants to choose from. Basically, the only cuisine that I like is American (pizza, burgers, macaroni, chicken, grilled cheese….). NO fancy stuff.
Right now to me, Park City seems a little bit “catered for tourists”. I want the real deal. However, Solitude/Brighton seem to have limited eating choices, and, I don’t want to be stuck in a place where there is only weird, unpronouncable food.
PLEASE HELP!!
Oh, I like amazing views, too.!
