Don’t the Winter Olympics represent the true Olympic spirit?
1) They are not as political as the Summer.
2) The athletes often state how it is really just about having fun while they are there(Shawn White, Hannah Teter, Chris Witty, Bode Miller, and Julia Mancuso all spoke about how the Olympics are supposed to be fun and nothing more).
3) Lake Placid, NY and Park City, Utah both give public bobsled rides charged through admission as well as the speed skating rinks, ski mountain, etc.
I was recently in Park City Utah to ski. They have lots of Olympic stuff around still from 2002.?
Did anyone go to any Olympic events?? And if you did, what did you attend?
