A Road Trip Planner may not be able to journey to the four corners of the Earth in one lifetime, but a road trip to the Four Corners of the U.S. is certainly achievable! Make sure this road trip makes it on your “Places To See” list because it’s the only place in the United States where four states meet.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: An excellent time to plan a road trip to this region is during the Fall because the red, orange and brown of the landscape will remind you of Fall Colors. Late Spring is also nice as is the summer if you have a tolerance for dry heat and have an ample supply of bottled water.
WHAT STATES MEET WHERE? Southwest Colorado, Northwest New Mexico, Northeast Arizona and Southeast Utah. There’s even a Four Corners Monument to mark the spot. Hand, hand, foot, foot & you’re officially in four states at once.
WHAT KIND OF TERRAIN CAN I EXPECT TO FIND? The Four Corners is actually part of the Grand Circle (which includes the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef, Natural Bridges, Hovenweep, Arches National Park). What you’ll find is plains stretching into the horizon in golden hues. And russet plateaus jutting up out of the earth in chaotic yet curiously patterned ways. This terrain is ancient; a land of Native Americans, a western frontier set in a rough and tumble landscape.
WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES CAN I DO THERE? This region offers such variety that it makes a great trip for families, couples, or a group of friends so you’ll have no trouble filling your Road Trip Planner with activities suited to your age and activity level. Utah is one of the best places for vacationing snowmobilers to enjoy their winter vacations. Nestled in the heart of what is commonly referred to as “color country,” vacationers at one of the many area resorts have access to glorious views of the surrounding Zion National Park, the Cedar Breaks National Monument, the Dixie National Forest, and the Bryce Canyon National Park. The Pinewoods Lodge Suites is one of the premier resorts in the southern Utah region where winter vacationers can take advantage of the many amenities available for an enjoyable experience. The rooms in this resort include two bedrooms with queen size beds along with a living room. Families and couples will enjoy the opportunity to relax here with a recreation room, fireplace, and a hot tub for unwinding during the evening after a long day of snowmobiling in the frigid winter cold. A fully-furnished kitchen is also included complete with dishes, utensils, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker so guests can relax in the comfort of their suite without needing to travel into town all the time. Families and friends will also appreciate the cable television provided for the guests.
The Mountain Home resort in southern Utah is a three-story home with five private bedrooms that can be rented out as single units or a group can rent the entire house. The common area of the house includes a television so guests can congregate to enjoy their favorite program and mingle with each other. For groups who rent out the entire house, there is a fully-equipped kitchen with dishes, utensils, an oven, and other small appliances for the convenience of the guests. Three wood burning stoves also add to the rustic yet comfortable nature of the Mountain Home resort. The Inn and the Family Suite are other southern Utah resorts that provide similar amenities and are ideal for families, couples, or groups who want access to the plethora of snowmobiling opportunities during the day and resort-style living during the evening.
The southern Utah resorts offer a variety of options for winter vacationers and guests. To lessen the hassle of transporting or shipping personal equipment and snowmobiles to the resort, guests can rent these for a nominal fee. This also gives vacationers the advantage of riding the newest and latest technology available in the snowmobile market along with safety equipment such as helmets and snowsuits. Patrons can also take advantage of the many guided snowmobiling tours where experienced guides will lead them on customized tours on the circuitous trails through the spectacular trees and scenery of the surrounding Utah national parks. Several resorts offer discount vacation packages if visitors choose to utilize the available resorts along with the snowmobiling activities that are afforded to them.

Annoying Empty Foreclosures Loom Over Cities in Utah

One particular bungalow that comes with red peeling paint within the area of Liberty Park in Salt Lake City comes with every traditional foreclosure sign possible. It is empty, the lawn has died and nobody has even bothered to repair that one busted window.
The zoning and housing officer of Salt Lake City takes a stroll around this house’s weedy yard. A few weeks ago, one of the broken windows was boarded up well. Today, the officer ensures that it is still safe and that homeless families or people haven’t found out some kind of way to get inside. Satisfied with everything in order, the officer enters his car and drives to the following vacant house that he has to inspect on the same day.
This officer, along with his counterparts within cities throughout the Front of Wasatch have found themselves busy as of late while the amount of these distressed properties continued to grow.
Various neglected houses and yards say hello to Salt Lake City’s zoning and housing officer while he made his rounds around foreclosed homes this past month. Neighbors ended up calling with anger or concerns about broken doors and windows, unkempt yards and various other issues despite municipalities being limited in their abilities due to rights of private property.
Empty houses could become havens when it comes to crimes such as sales of drugs. Sanitation and health would be one other issue whenever homeless people decide to move into these properties where the utilities got disconnected. And, while weather cools down, there would yet one more worry: fires that intruders started in attempts to stay warm within empty houses. They wish to find places to stay out of cold weather. Several doors and windows have required boarding up within the last few months in order to keep doggedly determined people out and preventing them from taking up residence in these places.
Even though the officer’s initial stops were in neighborhoods in Salt Lake City that were more modest, he was fast to pinpoint that the empty home problem was obvious in practically every single area and price range. It doesn’t happen to be a problem in the west side or the east side; it happens to be a problem everywhere.
In order to prove a point, he drove to a house a mere walk away from the country club of Salt Lake City near the vicinities of Sugar House. The overall assessed property value he stopped at stood at almost 0,000.
However, it also had every signs that distressed properties or foreclosures had – emptiness and a lot of landscaping at practically an end with overgrown or dead acre lots. The officer or somebody else will surely return to ensure that this property stays safe.
More than being a hazard or an annoyance, foreclosed houses could undermine the efforts of revitalization. Within the area of Rose Park, the community council chairman has watched over well taken care of homes as they turned into messes after their occupants suddenly vanished last summer. Ever since those days, the lawns have died while the trees are hardly keeping up. Plus, they stand on corners where everyone can see them.

The secrets for success in the Utah real estate business are many in number. There are quite a few ways to get ahead in the real estate business, but the best way is to be able to sell homes in places where the landscapes are endless, the people are friendly, and there are plenty of perks for people to move into that neighborhood.
If you are in the real estate business, then you know how sometimes it is hard to sell, especially in an economy like we have right now. But with cutting edge information and technology, you can utilize all of your resources in order to making selling homes easy and fun. If you join a group such as the American Association of Real Estate Investors, you will be able to gain access to more information about the market than ever before. Whether you are looking to buy or sell real estate, this is an organization that you will want to be a part of.
Once you decide that the real estate market is the right pace for you, you will need to choose an area in which you would like to sell homes. Utah is one of the great states for selling real estate. Not only is the state gaining popularity with many people, but it also has a lot to offer those who want to move there. The spectacular landscapes alone attract some of Utah’s best home buyers. The southern part of the state is famous for some of the country’s best known landscapes including national parks and Bryce Canyon. The north rim of the Grand Canyon is also only a few miles away.
In the south, there are also several small towns. Many people who want to move want to live in a place where they can really feel at home. Most small towns in Utah also give plenty of room for people to go around and explore nature throughout the state. A small town in Utah will offer the best of the city life for visitors as well as the small town charm for those who choose to live there.
What you can sell potential buyers on is the abundance of outdoor activities that you can do in Utah. The moderate year round climate gives ample opportunity for couples and families to get out and get going. There is skiing, camping, and fishing. There are a lot of outdoor sports as well.
Utah is a wonderful place for anyone to relocate. They will find that there are some great similarities to where they are from, but they will also be able to experience Utah’s unique offerings: the landscape, the weather, and the people. Home prices on average are also an excellent deal, especially for first time buyers. The average price is around 0,000 for a single family home. Utah is one of the fastest growing areas in the country, so if you want to claim your spot in the best state around, you will want to think about moving to Utah soon.

Provo, Utah, is situated next to the Wasatch Mountains and is home to Brigham Young University (BYU) and has been recognizes as a top city to live in the U.S. As a person looking to move to Utah, you may be looking for rental homes in Provo to move into. Provo has many rental units available due to the high amount of students living in the area.
